Bio
Alan Rennie serves as a JV Offensive Line Coach at Norco High School, bringing a powerful blend of championship playing experience, technical knowledge, and a growing passion for mentoring young linemen.
A native of Rosamond, California, Coach Rennie was a standout two-sport athlete at Paraclete High School from 2016 to 2020, where he played under Coaches Dean Herrington and McGuire. During his high school career, he was a four-year letterman and team captain, helping lead his team to back-to-back CIF titles and a State Championship. In addition to football, he earned All-American honors in track and field for two years and was named Male Athlete of the Year in 2020.
Rennie continued his athletic career at Riverside City College (2021–2023), competing in both football and track & field under Coach Tom Craft and Coach McCarron. He earned All-State honors in both sports and later transferred to Cal Poly Pomona, where he competed in track under Coach Bradford. While at CPP, he was one of only 18 athletes nationally recognized as an NCAA Weightlifting & Conditioning All-American across all three divisions.
His coaching journey began with a brief stint at Paraclete High School in Spring 2020, and in 2024, he officially joined the Norco Football staff. He was recruited by Coach Moose, his former offensive line coach at RCC, to take over the JV offensive line unit, a role in which he now applies both his playing experience and technical skillset to build toughness, discipline, and unity in the trenches.
Coach Rennie currently holds associate degrees in Math and Science, and in Social and Behavioral Studies, and is working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona.
Dedicated, detail-oriented, and driven, Coach Rennie is quickly becoming a valuable asset to the Cougar program, preparing the next wave of linemen to protect with pride and power.
