Bio
Matt Williams, known to players and staff as Coach Matty Will, serves as the Wide Receivers Coach for Norco High School Football. A proud Norco alumnus and former Cougar athlete, Coach Williams returned home in 2025 to help guide the next generation with the same passion and energy he once brought to the field as a player.
After graduating from Norco High School in 2014, where he played for the Cougars from 2010 to 2013, Williams went on to play college football at the University of Nevada (2014–2015) under Coach Brian Polian. He later transferred to Seton Hill University, where he lettered three years from 2016 to 2019 under Coaches Isaac Collins and Dan Day.
Coach Matty Will earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications as well as his MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Seton Hill University. After returning to California in 2022, he reconnected with the sport and quickly made an impact in the coaching ranks.
In March 2023, Williams was hired as the Head Wide Receivers Coach at Roosevelt High School (CA). In just one season, his
leadership and development techniques helped produce three All-League receivers and one Honorable Mention, demonstrating his ability to mentor talent and cultivate a high-performing position group.
That success opened the door for a return to Norco in 2025, where Coach Matty Will now coaches with both pride and purpose on the field where it all began.
He has coached multiple players who continued their careers at the next level, including:
Joshua Garcia (Colorado State Pueblo) and Nathan Enriquez (Wheeling University).
Originally from Eastvale, California, Coach Matty Will brings a unique blend of college playing experience, academic accomplishment, and hometown pride to the Norco sidelines—invested fully in building elite receivers and strong young men.
